TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF PC SHEET

Care should be exercised when handling and transporting PC sheet in order to prevent scratchs and damages to sheet edges.each sheet is packaged,transported,stored as follows to minimise the risk of these problems.
1、 PC sheet shold be stored and protected against atmospheric influences like sun,rain,etc. Be careful when handling sheet and keep carriage clean and clear. Pack four corners of PC sheet with paper or cloth to avoid scratchs and damages to sheet edges and PE films. PC sheet should be placed on paper during transportation to avoid scratchs of sheet surface.
2、 both sides of sheet surface converd with PE film. The UV protected side shoude face outwards.To avoid scratching sheet surface do not remove PE film until installation finished.
3、 store PC sheet indoor and to avoid keeping sheet in sun and rain for long-term. Make sure there is clear and clean indoor. Ensure that all sheet edges are good sealed to avoid dust go inside the sheet channels and moisture buildup.do remember don’t place PC sheet directly on cement floor to aviod sheet erosioned.

Vertical storage
place PC sheet vertical one after the other at angle of 10°.the thickness of the sheet pack should less than 30cm.
Horizontal storage
PC sheet of the same length should be stacked together on pallet. If different lengths, graded the longerst sheet at the bottom of the stack in order to avoid unsupported overhangs. The height of stack should less than 50cm.
Precautions for PE film
1、It will be difficult to remove PE film if store PC sheet in sunshine exceed 3 months.
2、It will be difficult to remove PE film if store PC sheet in place where temperature is exceed 60℃
3、remove PE film before dry sheet into desiccator.
